Street Lighting

APMC is responsible for the street lighting in Aberdeen Park. In 2022 we replaced all the older sodium lanterns (bulbs) with new LED lanterns. At the same time we also began a programme to replace the 42 columns, which were installed in the early 1990s and are now at or approaching end of life. We replaced 8 columns in 2022 and are replacing 10 more during 2023. The remainder should be replaced by 2026.
