Street Lighting

APMC is responsible for the street lighting in Aberdeen Park. In 2022 we replaced all the older sodium lanterns (bulbs) with new LED lanterns. At the same time we also began a programme to replace the 42 columns, which were installed in the early 1990s and are now at or approaching end of life. We replaced 8 columns in 2022, 10 in 2023 and 14 in January 2026. The remaining 10 columns should be replaced by the end of 2026.
