Conservation and Planning

Aberdeen Park is a conservation area which means it has been designated by the Council as an area of architectural or historic interest and there are specific guidelines covering what is and is not permitted in terms of development.  For the Aberdeen Park guidelines (CA27) please visit the planning section of Islington Council's website.

APMC does not get involved in planning applications except in the rare cases where all or a significant part of Aberdeen Park are affected (for example the recent redevelopment in Aberdeen Lane).

For general information about planning please go to Islington Council's website which has detailed information on all aspects of planning and building control.
